Leadership- Innate or Harbored?
Leadership plays a key role in any corporate where the team
has to work together in order to achieve a common goal. Leadership has been the
topic of enormous significance for many people and it continues to be so in the
present day as well. So many professional programs have been harbored in order
to pull out the leadership traits in the people. Some many research papers,
seminars, research papers have been brought forth in order to get those
leadership enhanced in the person. But the questions arise as to whether these
skills are born or are developed through various training sessions? But certain
studies point out that to some extent, the effective leaders are born.
It’s all the science of
disposition
Certain blokes are born with effective temperament that turns
them into effective leaders. If genetics has a role to play then environment
cannot run behind. Leaders can also be “harbored” through the experiences of
life and through effective training. A great leader is able to fabricate sound
decisions and set goals, despite the technological and economical alterations. Emotional
stability, output oriented and conviviality makes a person a good leader and
are the traits which are required in all the organizations.
Are the leaders made?
This is a topic of prime discussion. Leadership traits might
turn out to be innate but they are of no use in the absence of effective
training which builds in them effective skills for coming the ideas and
developing traits to deal with people and, of course, not to forget cultural
intelligence. People might be born with the attributes of leadership, but
formal education is required to brush up those essential skills, so that they
emerge as flawless heads.
Qualities like prudence, humanity, honesty and courage must
be practiced regularly in order to enhance the leadership features.
